Welcome to Elkins Pointe Middle School, where academic excellence and personal growth are at the heart of everything we do. Located in the vibrant and diverse community of Roswell, GA we are dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for every student to thrive.
At Elkins Pointe, we believe that middle school is an exciting time of discovery, learning, and building character. Our dedicated educators and staff work closely with students to help them develop not only their academic skills but also their confidence, creativity, and leadership potential.
Connections:
We offer a wide variety of Connection Classes to give students an opportunity to explore their interests and develop their skills. These classes include Art, Family & Consumer Science (FACS), Construction, AVID, Business, PE, General Music, French, Band, Orchestra and Chorus.
Music Department:
Our students have the opportunity to take Orchestra, Band, and/or Chorus as a year-long Connection. There is no better way to develop our budding musicians than through our award-winning programs!
World Language:
Through our amazing World Language Department, students can choose to take Spanish, French, or Japanese. Not only do students learn a new language, they are immersed in these cultures as well.
PBIS Distinguished:
Elkins Pointe is a PBIS Distinguished School. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework that provides a proactive and preventive system for addressing undesirable behaviors. Students earn points they can redeem for prizes. As Titans, we are Respectful, Individually responsible, Safe, and Excellent. Everyday we RISE!
6th Grade Academy:
Unique to EPMS, 6th Grade Academy was designed to ensure our 6th graders are set up for success as they make the transition from elementary school to middle school. This program features a modified schedule to include 60-minute instructional blocks and Prep Time, which provides students with skills needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
